Large openings commonly affect headers, posts, slabs, deflection and lateral behavior. The project-specific engineering need must be confirmed before the opening is built.
How do floor-to-ceiling windows affect energy performance?
Glass makeup, coatings, orientation, frame, edge, shading, air sealing and installation all matter. Project-specific energy and comfort review is more useful than a generic product claim.
Can panoramic glass replace an existing wall?
Potentially, after the team evaluates structure, utilities, waterproofing, permits, access and the selected glazing system.
Can you coordinate motorized shades and smart-home controls?
